Ready to take on the week!

We started our big week on a beautiful blue-sky day with an uneventful flight to Philly.  We had some tears saying goodbye to Big Sis, but Robert has FaceTimed with her 5 times since arriving!  While we are all extremely anxious about the week ahead, we were able to enjoy a fun, relaxing afternoon together.  So thankful for our friends who are letting us crash for the next few days before surgery on Wednesday.  Robert found kids boxing gloves at our friends house today (see photo) … as I watched him show off his punching moves, I immediately thought of Muhammad Ali.  I found this Ali quote that feels to sum up life right now, “We can’t be brave without fear.”

Thank you for the continued outpouring of prayers and messages.  Hoping Robert’s easy-going outlook continues tomorrow as we head to Nemours for a day full of pre-op appointments.
