A successful surgery 🙏🏻

Robert is out of surgery, Dr Mackenzie and Dr Campbell said it went really well and screws were placed “perfectly”. They Ended up addressing two areas of instability as opposed to just one we came for so ended up with four screws in his top 4 C vertebrae, then stabilizing them together and added bone on top that should hopefully fuse.

He came out of anesthesia not a happy camper so it has taken us a while to get transitioned to the inpatient floor. But we are finally here (which means Bobby can finally come in from the parking lot)!! He is still a bit agitated and not too pleased with all of the IVs and his neck brace. But thank goodness all of the screws were placed so NO halo!!

Please continue to pray for our sweet boy. It’s not going to be an easy few days for any of us.
